RLabs Namibia Youth4Youth Campaign In celebration of youth month, RLabs Namibia hosted a 1-week campaign of WhatsApp micro-courses virtually. The courses offered were such as Computer Basics, Entrepreneurship, Presentation Basics and Social Innovation. All courses were one day for three hours (10h00-13h00) with a facilitator and different coaches assigned to assist and support the students in completing the courses successfully. The courses are described below: Computer basics is aimed to provide an understanding of what a computer is, how it functions and how to use it. Entrepreneurship is aimed for participants to learn how to create a business plan and create value for customers Presentation basics is aimed to provide an understanding of what a slide presentation is, how to create one and how to deliver a presentation Social innovation is aimed to empower participants to create an impactful solution by alleviating a problem at its source.   Creating Opportunities for Young People – In the Midst of a Global Pandemic We are currently on day 475 of the Covid -19 pandemic. Yes, this pandemic hit us as a thief at night and it is still living in our midst. Several individuals, businesses and Government have immensely been affected during this pandemic. However, RLabs is an organisation that works toward positively impacting communities with skills that can be used to grow their businesses, start a business, and be market ready once the pandemic subsides and all is back to normal again. During the month of May and June 2021, we rolled out our 2nd semester WhatsApp- Micro Courses of which over 100 young people have applied and a total of 56 completed one or more courses.
